Nature

Québec defines its beauty in the nature it holds. Numerous lakes, large forests, moutain chains & beautiful snowy banks are some of many of its natural landmarks. We can see these wonders change throughout the four seasons that we are lucky to appreciate!

Simple Chinese Conversation

老梅海灘 Laomei Beach

It is located in the northernmost place of Taiwan. It’s famous for its stone trenches and the tides. Besides, Laomei Beach has been chosen as one of the worthiest tourist destinations in the world.

阿里山 Mountain Ali

Mountain Ali is a mountain resort and natural preserve. It is 415 km². It includes, among other things, mountain wilderness, four villages, waterfalls, tea plantations at high altitudes, the Mountain Ali Forest Railway, and several hiking trails.

Mountain Ali has become one of the major landmarks associated with Taiwan.

太魯閣 Taroko National Park

Taroko Gorge and its surrounding areas are well-known for their abundant supply of marble, leading to its nickname, "The Marble Gorge". The rock now we could see in Taroko has formed since over 200 million years ago. It was sediment at the bottom of the ocean before.

日月潭 Sun Moon Lake

Sun Moon Lake is the largest body of water in Taiwan as well as a tourist attraction.

The east side of the lake resembles a sun while the west side resembles a moon, hence it got the name. The view of the sunrise and the sunset attracts everyone.

淡水 Danshui

Danshui is a seaside district in New Taipei City in northern Taiwan.

The town is known as a site for watching the sun setting into the Taiwan Strait.

1. Some Taiwanese  dress as the monster Nian(The left photo) ,which was a evil. And then some people will set off some firecrackers to excel it. P.S.the monster Nian is afraid of the red thing.

2. Taiwanese always writes some spring couplets (left photoes)

to drive off the monster Nian.

3. It is the most important thing that family is going to go home and enjoy the dinner together on Chinese Near Year.

In chinese, we call this as 圍爐(wei lu).
